As a travel enthusiast from Yorkshire, I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Moorings - a stylish duplex apartment on Torquay Harbourside. the location was perfect, with easy access to Beacon Cove Beach and a variety of activities like hiking, snorkelling, and cycling. the apartment itself was beautifully decorated in warm earthy tones and jewel-like sea colours, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. One of the highlights of my stay was the balcony with stunning sea views, perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. the spacious two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms were immaculately clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable - like sleeping on a cloud! The kitchen was well-equipped with all the appliances and cutlery we needed, making it easy to enjoy meals in the comfort of our own space. the complimentary WiFi and large screen TV were great for relaxing after a day of exploring the nearby attractions, such as Living Coasts Marine Zoo & Aquarium and Torre Abbey with its Agatha Christie-inspired Potent Plants Garden. Overall, the Moorings provided the perfect balance of adventure by day and excitement by night, with a calming haven to return to. I highly recommend this sophisticated apartment for anyone looking to explore the beauty of Torquay while enjoying all the comforts of home.
